Gardening is Good for You!
The therapeutic benefits of gardening on body and soul are well recognised nowadays. Countless reports have demonstrated the positive effects on physical, psychological and social health. We're attaching a couple of links to more info - one from the Royal Horticultural Society, and two others from the respected Kings Fund and from Science Direct which assess the data, and conclude that gardening really does do you good!
The Gardening for Disabled Trust gives out small grants to people who suffer all kinds of chronic disabilities - mental and physical - to help them get gardening again, because we believe in the therapeutic powers of being outdoors, getting stuck into a bit of planting or weeding or growing.
