Paul Brown 1942 – 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Treasurer, Paul Brown.

Paul was known as the Giant Optimist for good reasons. He was always positive – it was not the problem, it was how to solve it.  He was generous to both his family and to local charities with both time and money which is a rare mix. Having travelled the world, he had huge enthusiasm for living in Kent as well as adoring his house in South Devon. He was always a very generous larger-than-life host and since retiring his great passion was fishing. His business acumen was second to none and he took as much pride with working for a huge enterprise as a small charity like Gardening with Disabilities Trust.
