Summer Garden Visit

at Glebe House

Glebe House, Hastings Road, Northiam, East Sussex TN31 6NH

Jane and David Pennock moved to Glebe House in 2007. They decided to redesign the garden with the help of Julia Fogg and Anny Evason, who had undertaken commissions in France, Italy and England. The project involved designing garden rooms using box hedging they had brought from their old garden at Iridge Place. There are wide paths, a canal garden, a hot garden, a large pergola to give shade and much else, all with succession planting. A wild pond was constructed in the paddock, where there are wildflowers and fruit trees. Near the house is a greenhouse surrounded by raised vegetable beds, and there are spectacular views over the Weald.

Please join us to enjoy this very special garden, which is rarely open to the public.
