Meet our all-volunteer committee

The Committee is made up entirely of volunteers:  8 women and 1  brave man:  we do the  fund-raising,  we review and decide on the grant applications to the Trust, award the grants, and follow-up with the recipients..

Everyone on the committee is a keen gardener, and understands the excitement and delight,  as well as the trials and tribulations, that a garden can bring. There is just one professional gardener amongst us, along with a former nurse, a banker, a florist, and people with all sorts of different experiences, including those with first-hand understanding of the impact of disability on people's lives. Instead of posting everyone's mug shots, the committee have posted their favourite flower, and if you run the cursor over the flower you can find their personal 'best gardening tips'.

Don't be afraid to move plants if they're not thriving where you first put them. They may be much happier in a different part of the garden.
